Partnering with GATC

Making a Difference!

The Graphic Arts Training and Consulting Group (GATC) is a customer-focused, non-profit, graphic arts industry training provider focused in the Midwest. GATC was founded in the early 1990’s to provide training to newspapers, commercial printers, packaging companies, in-plant departments and marketing and design professionals.

GATC provides the highest quality training, resources and services to employers and their workforce. They help companies improve their processes, overall quality levels and profitability through hands-on, production-oriented training, consulting and resources.

Dan Rebarcek, Digital Logistics Production Manager for Midland Information Resources, is a member of GATC’s Advisory Board which is made up of selected representatives of print companies, print associations, and print vendors. The board’s responsibility is to give GATC real world experiences in relation to training needs as well as current conditions in the print industry. The board also makes recommendations related to what the group sees as training and consulting opportunities that may come about as a result of technology changes and the general direction of the industry. GATC then uses this information to adjust to better serve the training and consulting needs of the industry based on current conditions and future trends in the industry.
