Midland Press Corporation has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2001 in the John Deere General Company Supply Management Achieving Excellence Program.
Midland was selected for this honor, the highest level of distinction awarded in the Achieving Excellence program, in recognition of their dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality, as well as for their commitment to continuous improvement in all areas of their business.
Midland has a 20-year relationship with John Deere and provides them with a wide-range of information management and distribution services including on-demand digital printing, fulfillment & distribution, warehousing, CD mastering & duplication, 800# call center services and content management solutions.
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence Program are evaluated annually in several key performance areas including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength (measure of responsiveness).
John Deere Supply Management created the Achieving Excellence program in 1991 as a way to provide their suppliers with an evaluation and feedback process that promotes quality and continuous improvement.
